Jesus said, Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto to me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8). The sound of the mighty, rushing wind heard at Pentecost is an alarm for the church of Jesus Christ: Jesus is coming soon! The fire of God is His powerful Word, convicting the world of sin, ministering salvation and setting captives free. The power of the Holy Ghost is taking the good news of the wonderful works of God to nations, proclaiming it boldly through men and women who have received that power! It began with a group of believers who yielded their lives to the Lord. They were filled with the presence of the Holy Ghost, the promise of the Father and the Power from Above!
